I have been a CVT for 7 years and practicing with Peninsula Veterinary Service since December 2020. My husband, Ryan, and I have 2 fur babies, Shannon and Sayalla, who are both tabby cats, and one human toddler son, Bellamy. From and early age I knew I wanted to work with animals, and it all started with taming some of the resident chipmunks in my childhood backyard. I grew up in Door County, after graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School, I attend 4 years of schooling at UW-Green Bay for Animal Biology, and then changed my mind on my career and attended Globe University - Green Bay for Veterinary Technician. I have dabbled in a number of animal related jobs and activities from being an animal keeper at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, to dog handler at boarding and daycare facilities, and then on to take care of animals with the Door County Humane society. In practice, I love client education and watching the transformation both clients and their pets make with medical care, from growing big and strong to acting young again with help from us. Outside of the practice? Ryan and I are huge nerds who also love hiking, swimming and giving our son new and fun experiences whenever we can!
